Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: London Docklands

Salary: Up to £90,000 (DOE)

Project: 9-storey Data Centre (£230m | 3-year programme)

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major data centre project in London Docklands. You will take commercial responsibility for key packages on a large-scale, fast-paced development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of assigned project packages
• Prepare and review cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor management
• Administer contracts and manage variations
• Monitor project costs and ensure financial control throughout
• Prepare valuations, reports, and final accounts
• Work closely with project and site teams to ensure commercial success
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on major construction projects
• Strong data centre or mission-critical project experience
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Degree recognised by RICS / SCSI
• Based in London or within commutable distance
