Senior Quantity Surveyor

A highly respected and forward-thinking construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Central London team. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in leading projects from inception through to completion, providing both strategic and hands-on commercial support. The Role
* Leading cost planning, benchmarking and feasibility studies as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Managing procurement strategies, tender documentation and bid evaluations
* Acting as Contract Administrator across JCT and NEC forms of contract
* Overseeing cost control, risk management and value engineering
* Managing valuations, variations and final accounts as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Producing detailed cost reports and presenting to clients and stakeholders
* Mentoring junior team members while delivering projects as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Senior Quantity Surveyor?
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction market
* Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
* Chartered (MRICS) or actively working towards chartership
* Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills
* Strong communication skills with a client-facing approach
