Executive Quantity Surveyor – High Tech Manufacturing & Data Centre Projects
Location: London (Hybrid working available)
An opportunity for an experienced Executive Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial leadership across a portfolio of three technically complex projects within the high-tech manufacturing and data centre sector.
You’ll be joining a well-structured team delivering post-contract cost management on fast-paced programmes. Estimating and cost planning will form part of your remit initially and may develop further as the team takes on more pre-contract responsibilities. This role requires a qualified, confident individual capable of working independently and managing client expectations within a collaborative consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead post-contract cost management including valuations, change control, and reporting
- Support the production of cost plans and estimates, particularly in early-stage project involvement
- Ensure commercial procedures are followed across procurement, contract administration, and final accounts
- Engage professionally with clients and project teams to manage risk and provide strategic cost advice
- Contribute to mentoring and guiding junior team members as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a consultancy environment, with strong post-contract delivery capability
- Competent in cost planning and estimating methodologies
- Familiarity with high-tech, manufacturing or data centre project environments
- Professionally qualified (MRICS or equivalent )
- Clear communicator with sound commercial judgement and the ability to work with minimal oversight
