The Senior Sales Executive focuses on selling power equipment, identifying equipment purchasing opportunities, brokering and trading assets, and delivering custom solutions with the support of WPP’s engineering and operations teams. Power experience is helpful but not required; proven success selling complex, capital equipment into large budgets is mandatory.
This role is designed for a proven, senior-level B2B sales professional who excels in relationship-driven, high-touch sales environments. It is not an entry-level or inside sales role and is best suited for someone who is comfortable operating independently, managing large deal cycles, and spending the majority of their time in front of customers rather than behind a desk.

Essential Duties:
Sales & Relationship Development
- Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with customers, dealers, brokers, and vendors.
- Leverage an existing network while continuously expanding new relationships.
- Spend significant time on the phone and in face-to-face meetings uncovering opportunities and building trust.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending practical equipment solutions.
Equipment Sales, Brokering & Trading
- Sell new and used power equipment and related assets.
- Identify opportunities to purchase, broker, or trade equipment through industry relationships.
- Evaluate equipment specifications, condition, pricing, and market demand in collaboration with internal experts.
- Facilitate brokered transactions while protecting WPP’s commercial interests.
- Provide market insight on equipment values, availability, and demand.
Collaboration & Execution
- Partner closely with engineering, operations, service, and packaging teams to deliver custom solutions.
- Ensure customer expectations align with technical and operational realities.
- Support deal execution through clear communication and follow-through.
Market Intelligence & Representation
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics.
- Represent WPP professionally at customer meetings, job sites, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain accurate activity, opportunity, and customer records in CRM.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in industrial or technical B2B sales
- Proven success selling into large, complex budgets ($10M+ annually).
- Power experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience in HVAC, data center equipment, electrical infrastructure, or industrial machinery is highly transferable.
- Established customer, dealer, or vendor relationships .
- Proficient with CRM systems and standard business tools.
EDUCATION:
- Degree not required; demonstrated sales performance and experience are what matter.
