Clear Entry Technologies Inc. is hiring an experienced Senior Security Systems Technician / Site Lead to support large-scale commercial security and data center projects.
\n
\n
We’re looking for someone who can step onto a major project, understand the scope quickly, lead from the field, and deliver high-quality access control and CCTV work without needing constant supervision.
\n
\n
What You’ll Be Doing
\n
\n
* Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot commercial access control and CCTV systems
\n
* Wire and terminate access control panels and field devices
\n
* Install card readers, biometric readers, locks, REX devices, contacts, power supplies, cameras, and related hardware
\n
* Configure IP addresses and network settings for cameras and security devices
\n
* Support commissioning, testing, punch-list completion, and turnover
\n
* Read and work from security drawings, risers, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
\n
* Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, electricians, network teams, and customer representatives
\n
* Lead technicians and installers on large projects
\n
* Track production, field issues, material needs, and installation quality
\n
* Maintain strong safety, documentation, and workmanship standards
\n
\n
Qualifications
\n
\n
* 10+ years of electronic security experience
\n
* Strong Honeywell Pro-Watch experience
\n
* Strong Lenel / LenelS2 OnGuard experience
\n
* Axis IP camera experience
\n
* Experience with IP addressing and device configuration
\n
* Biometric reader installation experience
\n
* Access control panel wiring and troubleshooting experience
\n
* Large-scale CCTV and access control deployment experience
\n
* Data center experience strongly
\n
* Previous site lead, lead technician, or field supervisor experience
\n
* Experience leading projects valued at $350,000+
\n
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
\n
* Ability to work independently and lead by example
\n
\n
Contractor Requirements
\n
\n
This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
\n
\n
Candidates must provide and maintain:
\n
\n
* Reliable personal transportation
\n
* Valid driver’s license
\n
* Required auto insurance
\n
* Personal hand tools and power tools
\n
* Multimeter and termination tools
\n
* Standard security technician equipment
\n
* Laptop or programming device when required
\n
* Required PPE
\n
\n
Specialty equipment and lifts may be provided depending on the project.
\n
\n
