Job Description (Senior) Support Engineer (Senior) Support Engineer (all genders) in the field of network technology and IT solutions
Munich, remote work, Inning am Ammersee
Full-time or part-time
Permanent position
€68,000 - €80,000 per year
About the Position
We can only consider candidates who are based in Germany and who speak German at a C-level business fluency. This is essential for effective collaboration within our team and with our clients.
We’re looking for you to join our TAC team if you enjoy diving into tricky IT problems, want to truly understand the root causes, and don’t give up until a solution is found. Because our goal is clear: no ticket ping-pong, but support that truly helps our customers.
In your role as a Support Engineer (all genders), you will monitor and process incoming tickets from the Service Desk. The goal is to resolve these independently and provide reliable support for our clients and projects.
We’re looking for people with a background in networking who thrive on challenges and complexity and can keep a cool head even in critical moments.
Responsibilities
- You’ll take on responsibility for 2nd & 3rd level support—including on-call duty when it matters most
- You will analyze network and security incidents remotely and resolve them effectively
- You will get to the root of the problem: reproducing issues in the lab instead of relying on assumptions
- You will work on equal footing with manufacturers such as Juniper, Arista, Cisco, and Fortinet
- You bring structure to the process: clear documentation of cases and infrastructures
- You continuously develop your skills through relevant certifications from our technology partners.
Profile
- You enjoy direct contact with customers and have the ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues and explain them clearly.
- You think analytically and are solution-oriented—not siloed by responsibilities
- You can discuss complex topics in German and English (C-level)
- You have experience in the service provider, data center, or integrator environment
- You have completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist in system integration or digital networking), a technology-focused degree, or a comparable qualification.
What we offer
- Secure working conditions: Permanent employment contract for long-term planning security.
- Direct influence: You help shape the future—short decision-making paths, direct access to management, no politics.
- Come as you are: No dress code. From metalheads to pop fans, everyone is welcome here just as they are.
- Modern work: Flexible hours, remote work, 30 days of vacation—we help you balance your life and your job.
- Health benefits: Company health insurance, ergonomic work environment, EGYM Wellpass & Jobrad.
- Impactful professional development: You’ll receive time and support for your growth—whether it’s technical expertise, soft skills, or new tools—because standing still isn’t our style.
- Family-friendly: Flexible hours and part-time options, plus a childcare subsidy to help you balance caregiving and work.
- Impact-driven environment: We work transparently, directly, and as equals. Clearly defined roles and short decision-making paths ensure you can make a meaningful contribution.
- Dogs welcome: With our custom-built 'Dog Booking' system, you can schedule visits for your four-legged friend to our offices.
