Senior Power Systems Engineer - Engineering Consultancy\n\nLocation: Multiple UK offices (including Bristol, London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Reading)\nWork Type: Full-time, flexible location\nSector: Electrical Engineering - Infrastructure, Data Centres, Mission Critical Projects\n\nOverview\n\nAn opportunity to join a leading engineering consultancy known for its human-centric and sustainable approach to design. The role sits within a high-performing HV team delivering power systems analysis and design across complex infrastructure and mission-critical environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead technical delivery of HV/MV/LV power systems analysis and design.\nPerform load flow, fault level, harmonic (G5/5), and protection studies.\nDesign substations and points of connection from LV to HV.\nConduct earth rise, touch potential, and resilience studies.\nProduce specifications, schematics, and reports.\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders.\nMentor junior engineers and support team development.Requirements\n\nStrong experience in HV engineering or power systems design.\nProficiency in tools like ETAP, Amtech, Revit, BIM, CAD.\nDeep understanding of substation design, protection coordination, arc flash, CT calculations, and power quality studies.\nAbility to model complex networks and conduct advanced studies.\nExperience in client-facing consultancy roles and mentoring.Benefits\n\n9-day fortnight scheme, private medical cover, EV salary sacrifice, stock options, up to 30 days annual leave.\nInclusive culture with strong focus on wellbeing, development, and flexibility. \n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value in our company.
