Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer required for a leading independent distributor.\n\n The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of pumping systems and associated equipment, including booster sets, pressurisation units, wastewater and sewage pumps, pump stations, and controls, primarily across London and the South East.\n\n The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will ideally have a background in servicing pumps, pump systems, and related mechanical/electrical equipment.\n\n Package\n\n£42,000\nOTE £50,000 - £60,000+ (including travel time and overtime)\nOvertime available\nCompany van, fuel card, mobile phone\n22 days holiday + bank holidays\nAdditional holiday bonus potential\nPension schemeService Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Role\n\nCarry out installation, service, and repair of pumping systems and associated controls in various industries, such as factories, data centres, hospitals, shopping centres, housing associations, schools and office blocks, or similar.\nUndertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial/repair works.\nCommission new installations, including pipework, valves, pumps and controls.\nRespond to reactive/breakdown maintenance callouts.\nManage control of van stock, parts, and spares.\nAttend scheduled call-out cover on a rota basis.\nLoad/unload plant and equipment at the head office and on-site.\nFully remote, covering a London and South East patch, including: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Responsibilities\n\nPrevious experience as a Pump Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Workshop Engineer, or similar.\nExperience with booster sets, pressurisation units, wastewater and sewage pumps, storm pump stations, inverters, and PLCs.\nBackground with heating/chiller pumps, circulators, vacuum degassers, irrigation systems, and plate heat exchangers is desirable.\nExperience working within Building Services, such as: factories, data centres, hospitals, shopping centres, housing associations, schools and office blocks, or similar.\nMechanical and electrical knowledge, with analytical fault-finding skills.\nFull UK driving licence.\nWillingness to travel around London and the Home Counties: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.\nWillingness to work on a call-out rota and occasional overnight stays
