We’re Hiring: Electrical Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) ⚡ \n City of London\n Up to £45,000 + £3,140 Shift Allowance + Benefits\n Continental Shift Pattern | Permanent\n\nWe’re seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician ⚡ to join a leading UK Facilities Management company on a prestigious, high-profile site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a critical commercial environment, offering long-term stability, exposure to a flagship contract, and clear career progression.\n\n What you’ll be doing:\n✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems ⚡\n✔️ Fault finding and repairing electrical systems and associated controls\n✔️ Supporting maintenance of HVAC systems, lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS systems, and plant equipment\n✔️ Responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs\n✔️ Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations and site compliance standards\n✔️ Updating maintenance logs and completing all relevant documentation accurately\n✔️ Liaising professionally with the client and working closely with the wider engineering team\n\n What we’re looking for:\n• Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) ⚡\n• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations\n• Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance\n• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills ⚡\n• Ability to work effectively within a shift team on a critical site\n• Good communication and client-facing skills\n\n⭐ Desirable:\n• Experience working within critical environments (e.g. banking, data centres, high-profile commercial buildings)\n• HV/LV knowledge or switching experience\n\n Shift Pattern:\n• 4 days on, 6 days off\n• 4 nights on, 4 days off\n• 3 days on, 3 nights on, 4 days off\n\n⏰ Shift Times:\n• Days: 07:00 – 19:00\n• Nights: 19:00 – 07:00\n• Average 42 hours per week (1-hour unpaid break per shift)\n\n What’s on offer:\n Up to £45,000 basic salary + £3,140 shift allowance\n⏱️ Overtime opportunities\n Company pension\n Holiday allowance\n Ongoing training and development\n Genuine career progression within a leading FM organisation\n Opportunity to work on a flagship, high-profile London contract\n\n If you’re a skilled Electrical Technician ⚡ looking to develop your career within a critical and fast-paced environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading facilities management business
