This role is responsible for leading shift operations, ensuring compliance and safe systems of work, and maintaining the performance and reliability of critical M&E infrastructure.\n\n \n\nIn return, you’ll receive:\n\nA competitive salary with regular overtime opportunities\n\nYour basic shift pattern will be 4 on, 4 off, 6 on, 4 off, 4 on, 6 off consisting of Day Shifts (Apply online only) and Night Shifts (Apply online only)\n\nThe chance to work in a technically complex, prestigious environment\n\nOngoing support, training, and career development opportunities\n\nA diverse and inclusive team culture that values your contribution\n\n \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and coordinate shift engineering operations within a critical environment\n\nMonitor and manage plant performance via BMS and CAFM systems\n\nEnsure all PPMs, reactive tasks, and statutory compliance activities are completed within SLA\n\nManage HVAP responsibilities including isolations, permits to work, and safe systems of work\n\nOversee incident management, escalations, and emergency response procedures\n\nMaintain accurate shift logs, technical reports, and operational documentation\n\nSupervise contractors and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery\n\nSupport energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nProvide shift cover and operational support when required\n\n \n\nRequirements\n\nNVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.\n\n18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.\n\nPrevious experience in a critical environment/data centre/high-profile commercial site\n\nHV Authorised Person (HVAP) status essential\n\nStrong understanding of critical M&E systems, BMS, and CAFM platforms\n\nExperience leading engineering teams in a shift environment\n\nExcellent knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance\n\nStrong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills\n\n \n\nBenefits:\n\nWe're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
