The Role

Administers warehouse and ship loose management functions by performing the following duties.

What you will be responsible for:

• Oversee the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and customer shipping schedules or department priorities.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to be aware of Customer requirements and schedule to meet Customer expectations.
• Responsible planning and producing documentation for the kitting of additional materials, i.e. Ship Loose, need by customer at end of Order.
• Oversee proper inventory transactions including kitting, issuing materials for inventory accountability and accuracy.
• Prepares product for transportation of required materials determined by customer schedule for delivery.
• Encourage continuous idea from team members for continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety.
• Ensure 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner) is being applied on a daily basis.
• Follow updated schedules to meet ship dates.
• Monitor quality in accordance with the company ISO Quality Plan.
• Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and the ability to work on–site
• Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This job requires supervisory responsibilities.

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

• Broad working experience in supply chain functions of planning, purchasing, inventory management and Logistics, Hands-on knowledge, Demonstrated leadership skills & managerial experience, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory role in a warehouse / manufacturing environment required.
• Previous MRP experience .
