Summary Objective

The Site Director provides strategic and operational leadership for Stellar Energy’s manufacturing operations, overseeing all fabrication personnel, processes, and facility performance. This role is accountable for profit and loss (P&L) outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and to the company’s highest quality and safety standards. As a senior leader, the Site Director communicates regularly with executive leadership, providing insights, forecasts, and recommendations to support business objectives and long-term growth.

Essential Functions

  • Manages all fabrication personnel and processes.
  • Monitors and maintains facility for city/state inspections and schedules.
  • Monitors all shop personnel for manpower utilization and shop budgeting.
  • Manages labor performance relative to project budgets.
  • Collaborates with HR for shop personnel questions, disciplinary actions and company violations.
  • Identifies improvement procedures and processes and implementation.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on production, financial performance, and risk management.
  • Communicate complex operational issues and solutions clearly to senior management, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Host customer visits, audits, and other facility tours, representing Stellar Energy at an executive level.
  • Monitors overall shop security.
  • Creates and manages project and sub-contractor schedules, coordinates shop floor activities and monitor tool certifications/calibrations, etc.
  • Implement and maintain Competent Persons training.
  • Coordinate quality checks.
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures and issue violations when necessary.
  • Promotes a quality and safety culture for the fabrication workforce.
  • Ensure shipping schedules for all projects are met.
  • Seeks to identify improved methods of production and safety and be proactive in the implementation.
  • Responsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, video review, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review.
  • Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Work Location

This position will work out of our Jacksonville facilities in Florida. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely. Or where the employee will physically work.

Work Environment
This position operates out of a manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
Travel is primarily not required with exception to local travel during the business day.

Required Education and Experience.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience managing or supervising production personnel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Budgeting

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must have dependable transportation and valid driver’s license

Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
