OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Site Logistics & Support Manager to lead all site logistics operations within a large-scale High-Performance Compute Center (HPCC) environment in Spartanburg, SC.

This role is responsible for the governance, coordination, and execution of all material movement, receiving, storage, and inventory control activities supporting mission-critical infrastructure operations. The Site Logistics & Support Manager serves as the primary authority for logistics execution across the facility, ensuring disciplined material handling, inventory accuracy, and reliable coordination between Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and third-party vendors.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in industrial or mission-critical logistics environments and understands the operational importance of precise material flow, controlled inventory management, and vendor coordination in uptime-sensitive facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Logistics Operations

• Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, dock operations, receiving protocols, inspection procedures, and controlled material movement across the facility
• Ensure proper staging, storage, and delivery of materials required for operations, maintenance, and engineering activities
• Maintain strict chain-of-custody procedures for equipment and materials entering mission-critical areas
• Coordinate logistics activities that support operational uptime, maintenance planning, and capital improvement initiatives

Inventory & Material Governance

• Establish and maintain site logistics governance standards, material handling procedures, and inventory control frameworks
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking, reconciliation, and data integrity across internal systems
• Implement inventory accuracy controls, cycle counts, and material tracking procedures
• Maintain proper documentation for Bills of Lading, packing slips, purchase orders, and other logistics records

Cross-Functional Operational Support

• Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to prioritize material staging and support scheduled and emergent work activities
• Coordinate logistics support for major maintenance events, retrofits, commissioning activities, and capital projects
• Support operational readiness by ensuring critical spares and required materials are available when needed
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that could impact operational continuity

Vendor & Logistics Coordination

• Oversee vendor performance for freight carriers, delivery services, storage providers, and logistics contractors
• Ensure vendor adherence to service level agreements and site operational requirements
• Coordinate with Procurement and Corporate Logistics teams to ensure effective material sourcing and delivery timelines

Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Enforce site safety protocols, material handling best practices, and EH&S compliance standards
• Implement controlled access protocols for materials entering sensitive or mission-critical environments
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance logistics efficiency, inventory visibility, and warehouse space utilization
• Serve as the escalation point for logistics-related issues impacting site operations

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop Site Logistics Coordinators and material handling personnel
• Ensure consistent execution of logistics procedures and operational discipline across the team
• Foster a safety-first culture focused on accountability, accuracy, and operational reliability

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or material management in industrial or mission-critical environments
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing logistics, warehouse, or material handling teams
• Experience overseeing dock operations, receiving protocols, inventory management systems, and controlled material flow
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in fast-paced operational environments
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, logistics documentation controls, and vendor performance management
• Experience implementing inventory governance frameworks and maintaining high inventory accuracy
• Strong organizational, communication, and escalation judgment skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a high-accountability, mission-critical environment
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain

EXPERIENCE

• Experience supporting data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, construction, utilities, manufacturing, or other high-reliability environments
• Familiarity with logistics support for large-scale infrastructure or technical facilities
• Experience working with enterprise inventory or warehouse management systems
