They work hard to create a challenging, supportive, and satisfying working environment for all employees and have successfully achieved the Investors in Foundational Award for their commitment to equality, , and inclusion in the workplace.\nThe Role\nReporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Manager will take full responsibility for the completion of small to medium-sized cabling projects (or an element of a large project) within the Commercial Buildings & Offices environment under the control of a Project Manager.\nLocation: Site-based in London, but there is a possiblity of work around the UK and Europe.\nWhat you will be doing:\n * Oversee a team of supervisors and engineers to ensure all cable installations are installed to specification, on time, and meet both client and manufacturer quality standards.\n * Ensure all current Health & Safety requirements are met, carrying out Risk Assessments, drafting method statements, and ensuring all H&S procedures are followed.\n * Manage stock in a cost-effective manner and ensure sufficient materials are available at all times for efficient installation.\n * Order materials as required.\n * Compile progress reports and provide information in a logical format to the Project Manager.\n * Carry out quality checks on all works carried out by cabling engineers to ensure all Quality Standards are met.\n * Read and understand site drawings, updating them "as and when" work is completed.\n * Attend and document client meetings and ensure all required actions are carried out in a timely manner.\n * Compile processes and produce documentation as required to meet company and client standards.\n * Draw up patching schedules and ensure timely implementation of patching requirements.\n * Ensure all required installations are documented as specified.\n * Draw up Operations and Maintenance manuals as required.\n * Assist in any urgent installation works as and when required.\n * Ensure project profitability is maximized at all times.\nWhat our client is looking for:\n * Industry Experience: Proven experience managing installation teams in the cabling infrastructure industry, specifically within Data Centres and Commercial Buildings/Offices.\n * Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of cabling installation practices, particularly Cat6/Cat6a installations.\n * ECS Card\n * SSSTS / SMSTS\nIf you feel you have the required skills and experience, please apply now via our website: (url removed) to be considered for this Site Manager position.\nIn addition, feel free to contact our Service Delivery Manager, Lucas Smyth, for more information if required: (url removed) & (phone number removed)
