The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Manager will take full responsibility for the completion of small to medium-sized cabling projects (or an element of a large project) within the Commercial Buildings & Offices environment under the control of a Project Manager.
Location: Site-based in London, but there is a possiblity of work around the UK and Europe.
What you will be doing:

- Oversee a team of supervisors and engineers to ensure all cable installations are installed to specification, on time, and meet both client and manufacturer quality standards.
- Ensure all current Health & Safety requirements are met, carrying out Risk Assessments, drafting method statements, and ensuring all H&S procedures are followed.
- Manage stock in a cost-effective manner and ensure sufficient materials are available at all times for efficient installation.
- Order materials as required.
- Compile progress reports and provide information in a logical format to the Project Manager.
- Carry out quality checks on all works carried out by cabling engineers to ensure all Quality Standards are met.
- Read and understand site drawings, updating them "as and when" work is completed.
- Attend and document client meetings and ensure all required actions are carried out in a timely manner.
- Compile processes and produce documentation as required to meet company and client standards.
- Draw up patching schedules and ensure timely implementation of patching requirements.
- Ensure all required installations are documented as specified.
- Draw up Operations and Maintenance manuals as required.
- Assist in any urgent installation works as and when required.
- Ensure project profitability is maximized at all times.

What our client is looking for:

- \nIndustry Experience: Proven experience managing installation teams in the cabling infrastructure industry, specifically within Data Centers and Commercial Buildings/Offices.
- \nTechnical Knowledge: A strong understanding of cabling installation practices, particularly Cat6/Cat6a installations.
