Stream Logistics is a rapidly growing logistics company specializing in complex, high-value, and mission-critical projects across the country. Our HyperFlex Storage operations provide dedicated warehousing and outdoor storage solutions for large-scale equipment supporting data center and other critical infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager to help lead our Birmingham storage operations, which include both a large indoor warehouse and a separate outdoor storage yard.
\n
\n
This is not strictly a desk-based management position. We are looking for someone who can lead a team, maintain a highly organized operation, communicate effectively with management and clients, and also work alongside their team when equipment needs to be received, moved, organized, or loaded.
\n

Position Overview:
\n
The Site Manager will help oversee the day-to-day operation of both our indoor warehouse and outdoor storage yard in the Birmingham area. The position will oversee a small team of approximately 2–3 employees at each location and will be expected to regularly travel between both sites.
\n
\n
The ideal candidate has previous warehouse or logistics leadership experience, is comfortable operating a forklift, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and professional facility.

Key Responsibilities:
\n

- Oversee daily operations at both the indoor warehouse and outdoor storage yard.
- Lead, coordinate, and work alongside small on-site teams at each facility.
- Receive, offload, reload, and stage equipment arriving at or departing from the facilities.
- Operate forklifts and assist with material-handling activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory and equipment location records.
- Ensure equipment is properly organized, spaced, stored, and protected while in our possession.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment schedules with Stream's project management and transportation teams.
- Prepare the facilities and teams for upcoming deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain high standards for warehouse and yard cleanliness, organization, safety, and appearance.
- Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections.
- Identify operational issues and communicate needs to Stream management.
- Help train and develop warehouse and yard personnel.
- Ensure established safety procedures and operating standards are consistently followed.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, vendors, customers, and other project stakeholders who visit the facilities.

What We're Looking For:
\n

- Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or similar operational experience.
- Prior leadership or warehouse management experience strongly .
- Forklift operating experience required.
- Comfortable working in both indoor warehouse and outdoor yard environments.
- Willing and able to perform physical, hands-on work alongside the team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing delivery schedules.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Dependable, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of an operation.
- Ability to travel regularly between our two Birmingham area facilities.
- Willingness to learn additional specialized lifting and material-handling equipment. Training will be provided.

Schedule:
\n
This is primarily a Monday–Friday position, with occasional weekend work required depending on inbound and outbound project schedules.

- This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership, notices problems before they become bigger issues, keeps their facility organized without needing constant direction, and wants to play an important role in building a growing operation.
