Job Title: Manufacturing Site Leader – Houston Operations

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Site Leader will have full responsibility for leading and scaling a growing manufacturing facility. This role is accountable for operational performance, safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while building new manufacturing capabilities to support continued growth. The leader will drive the development of new processes and technologies—including metal fabrication, integrated system enclosures, and flexible assembly and test cells—to expand capacity and capabilities. This position requires a hands-on, visible leader who can build high-performing teams, lead change, and execute with both speed and discipline in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Champion a culture of safety excellence by implementing, enforcing, and continuously improving safety programs and practices.

  • Ensure uncompromising product quality by maintaining and improving robust quality systems that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to scale manufacturing capacity through new processes, technologies, and equipment.
  • Lead new product and production launches using disciplined project management methodologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, product management, quality, and supply chain to support customized solutions and business objectives.
  • Establish, track, and report key performance indicators with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, scalability, and operational accuracy.
  • Build and develop a high-performing manufacturing team through coaching, succession planning, and technical skill development at all levels of the organization.
  • Fully leverage ERP and manufacturing execution systems to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment and transactional processes.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and eliminate waste.
  • Oversee facility operations and maintenance, including preventive maintenance programs, infrastructure readiness, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage financial performance by developing and controlling the site budget, ensuring cost efficiency and return on investment for growth initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a plant manager or equivalent senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering results across safety, quality, delivery, and cost in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change through clear communication, coaching, and raising performance expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems.

 Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
  • Experience leading manufacturing and supply chain integrations in a merger and acquisition environment.
  • Demonstrated success scaling operations, launching new products, or supporting multi-site manufacturing models.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar project management or process improvement credentials.
