Site Safety Coordinator Night Shift

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification (required)
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator (required)
  • Prior experience working in data center environments (required)
  • Background check required — must pass pre-employment screening
  • Must be available for night shift hours
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to communicate clearly with equipment operators and site supervisors
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus — highly encouraged to apply

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide and monitor equipment operators during crane operations, material lifts, and vehicle movement on site
  • Identify and communicate hazards to operators, crew, and site leadership in real time
  • Maintain visual contact with equipment and establish hand signal or radio communication protocols
  • Enforce safety compliance per OSHA standards and project-specific safety plans
  • Conduct pre-shift safety checks and document observations as required
  • Coordinate with the site safety officer and project management team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience as a Spotter on data center, commercial, or industrial construction projects
  • Bilingual — English and Spanish fluency
  • Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety standards
  • First Aid / CPR certification
