MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification (required)
- 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator (required)
- Prior experience working in data center environments (required)
- Background check required — must pass pre-employment screening
- Must be available for night shift hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to communicate clearly with equipment operators and site supervisors
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus — highly encouraged to apply
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and monitor equipment operators during crane operations, material lifts, and vehicle movement on site
- Identify and communicate hazards to operators, crew, and site leadership in real time
- Maintain visual contact with equipment and establish hand signal or radio communication protocols
- Enforce safety compliance per OSHA standards and project-specific safety plans
- Conduct pre-shift safety checks and document observations as required
- Coordinate with the site safety officer and project management team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience as a Spotter on data center, commercial, or industrial construction projects
- Bilingual — English and Spanish fluency
- Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety standards
- First Aid / CPR certification
