This role is a part-time staffing position for a data center, located in Mesa, AZ. The schedule is 8 hours minimum per week. Night and weekends are possible, as needed.
Safety Professional must be a US . There is no opportunity for sponsorship.

Job Functions:
- The Safety Professional conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
- Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
- Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on client project site.
- Provides project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirms project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
- Provides technical support to project managers.
- Participates in team meetings and provides regular on-site project presence.
- Must attend site-specific safety training withing 30 days of assignment

Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Health & Safety degree (Associate’s or higher) + 5 years of construction safety experience or,
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) + 3 years of relevant construction safety experience or,
- OSHA 500 Instructor Course completion + 10 years of full-time safety duties in construction
Work Hours & Benefits

- Pay rate is $45-55/hour depending on experience
- No per diem
