Site Safety Representative

We are looking for an experienced Site Safety Representative to support a large-scale Data Center construction project in Minooka, IL. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA standards, client requirements, and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on the job site.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Ensure employees, subcontractors, vendors, and visitors comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with project management to implement and maintain site-specific safety programs.
  • Review and maintain required client and subcontractor safety documentation.
  • Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
  • Track safety metrics and prepare reports as needed.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field OR 5–10 years of construction safety experience.
  • OSHA 30 Certification ().
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and construction safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects (Data Center experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work on active construction sites, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and navigating uneven terrain.
