Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead and oversee the demolition of data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demolition projects, particularly in complex environments such as data centers, where the safe and efficient removal of structures, equipment, and materials is critical. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all demolition activities on-site, ensuring the project adheres to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work plans, and site logistics.
• Oversee the demolition of structures, equipment removal, and material recycling/disposal, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage subcontractors and labor force to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any project-related issues and provide regular progress updates.
• Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and maintained throughout the project.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, manpower, equipment, and materials used, as well as project costs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Enforce site safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions for all site personnel.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure quality control throughout the demolition process, including site clean-up and preparation for future use.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction or demolition, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing data center demolition or similar projects involving complex electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
• In-depth knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permits, and waste management practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and subcontractors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
• Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various conditions, including outdoor environments, confined spaces, and elevated areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
