About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our Innovation team. This role will be remote. The individual will play a key role in the development and enhancement of proprietary software solutions that support design and production work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom solutions to enhance design and work process efficiency
- Support the development of in-house tools, including Thrux and custom Autodesk tools
- Evaluate third-party AI tools
- Develop in-house AI models using techniques such as computer vision, speech recognition, natural processing, and machine learning
- Ensure alignment between BIM content and custom software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional MEP engineering and Corporate Services teams to support workflow efficiency
- Provide technical support to end users
- Coordinate training on new products and features with the KM team
- Develop MEP cross-trade collaboration logic
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 1-4 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems with the goal of becoming proficient within 6 months
- Understanding of relational data
- Familiarity with trade-specific, energy, and building codes
- General understanding of the building design lifecycle
- Working knowledge of Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and related platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platforms and related programming tools.
- Experience with computational design applications
- Technical skills in C#, JavaScript, Python, CSS, WPF, XAML, Azure web services (Cosmos/Functions/AppServices), ASP.NET, Revit/AC API

Estimated compensation range: $ 120,000-$130,000 annual salary
