Software Technology Specialist – Solar Energy & Crypto Mining Operations

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid / On-Site / Travel as Required)

Compensation: $75,000 - $150,000+ DOE + Bonuses + Equity Opportunities

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Technology Specialist to join our growing team and help support the deployment, monitoring, optimization, and management of advanced solar energy systems, cryptocurrency mining operations, and data center technologies.

Position Summary

The Software Technology Specialist will play a critical role in supporting software platforms, operational technologies, mining infrastructure, and energy management systems. This position combines software support, systems administration, automation, networking, data analytics, and energy optimization.

The ideal candidate has experience with technology operations, solar energy systems, cryptocurrency mining environments, data centers, or related infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

Software & Systems Management

• Configure, deploy, and maintain software applications supporting solar and crypto mining operations.
• Monitor system performance using dashboards, analytics tools, and remote monitoring platforms.
• Develop automation scripts, APIs, and software integrations.
• Troubleshoot software, networking, and hardware issues.
• Support both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure environments.
• Manage software updates, firmware deployments, backups, and security protocols.

Solar Energy Operations

• Monitor photovoltaic (PV) production systems and battery storage assets.
• Analyze energy , consumption, and efficiency metrics.
• Support Energy Management Systems (EMS) and monitoring platforms.
• Assist with solar-to-load integration and optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot solar monitoring and reporting systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and energy utilization.

Cryptocurrency Mining Operations

• Configure and monitor cryptocurrency mining fleets.
• Manage mining pools, wallet configurations, and miner performance.
• Optimize mining software settings to improve hash rate and profitability.
• Monitor power consumption, thermal efficiency, and operational uptime.
• Troubleshoot miner performance issues and downtime events.
• Support deployment and expansion of mining infrastructure.

Mining Equipment Management

• Configure and maintain ASIC miners, GPU systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor firmware versions and performance metrics.
• Perform equipment diagnostics and preventive maintenance support.
• Track fleet health and generate operational reports.
• Support inventory management and asset tracking initiatives.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Create operational KPI dashboards and performance reports.
• Analyze large datasets related to energy production, mining performance, and system utilization.
• Develop recommendations for operational improvements.
• Support executive leadership with technical reporting and performance analysis.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in:

  • Related Technical Discipline

OR equivalent professional experience.

• 3+ years of experience in:
• • Technology Operations

• Strong understanding of:
