ANM is seeking an experienced Low Voltage & Physical Security Project Manager to lead projects focused on structured cabling, access control, and video surveillance systems.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in field installation management, security systems integration, and low-voltage project delivery, combined with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
What will you be doing as a Special Systems Project Manager
- Manage end-to-end delivery of low-voltage and physical security projects, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget
- Oversee structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, and network infrastructure installations
- Coordinate site activities with general contractors, district IT, facilities personnel, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and reporting deliverables
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and enforce safety compliance
- Review construction drawings, one-lines, and specifications for design accuracy and buildability
- Manage procurement, material tracking, and subcontractor coordination
- Document project status, change orders, and risk mitigation activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure successful system commissioning, client acceptance, and close-out documentation
- Support client communication and stakeholder engagement to maintain transparency and satisfaction
Required education, technical skills, and/or experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in cabling and physical security project management, preferably in the public sector
- Proven background in field installation, commissioning, or supervision of cabling and security systems
- Strong working knowledge of standards and best practices for structured cabling and security systems integration
- Familiarity with platforms such as Verkada
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple job sites concurrently and lead diverse field teams
- Proficiency in project management tools/systems
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies including waterfall, hybrid, and agile
- Self-starter with ability to build relationships, manage customer satisfaction, and implement internal changes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a high attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Experience with business and project management tools, including MS Project, MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, and Salesforce
Education, technical skills, and/or experience:
PMP Certification, Agile certifications, including CSM, PMI-ACP
