For over 30 years, Sentinel Offender Services has provided community-based, offender-funded monitoring services across North America. Working with law enforcement, community corrections agencies and the court system, we provide customized offender management solutions that help to reduce recidivism and improve reentry success. These solutions combine electronic monitoring technology, alcohol and substance abuse testing, and community-based offender management programs.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain our diverse technology infrastructure. This includes corporate IT systems, Office 365, infrastructure running at datacenters, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
The ideal candidate is a versatile professional with hands-on experience across networking, security, and infrastructure administration for corporate, data center, and cloud environments.

Essential Functions
Cross-Platform Responsibilities
· Ensure seamless integration between cloud, datacenter, and corporate environments
· Implement and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, FastConnect etc.)
· Establish consistent security policies across all infrastructure domains
· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems
· Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support
· Collaborate with development teams to support SaaS application infrastructure requirements
· Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
· Manage vendor relationships and support contracts
· Own the preparation of infrastructure and security documentation, ensuring timely and accurate responses to RFPs and other business requests.
Datacenter Systems Administration
· Manage physical and virtual servers in our on-premises datacenter environment
· Maintain VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
· Administer storage systems including SAN/NAS infrastructure
· Monitor and maintain datacenter networking equipment and connectivity
· Perform regular system updates, patches, and firmware upgrades
· Implement and maintain datacenter backup and recovery procedures
· Manage datacenter environmental monitoring and capacity planning
Corporate Infrastructure Administration
· Administer Active Directory domain controllers, group policies, and user management
· Manage corporate network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
· Implement and maintain network security measures including VPNs, firewall rules, and intrusion detection
· Configure and support corporate WiFi infrastructure and guest access
· Manage DNS, DHCP, and other core network services
· Administer endpoint management and security solutions
· Support corporate email, collaboration tools, and productivity applications
Cloud Infrastructure Management (Oracle Cloud (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS))
· Administer and optimize infrastructure needed for SaaS platform hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
· Manage OCI and AWS compute instances, storage, networking, and database services
· Monitor cloud resource utilization and implement cost optimization strategies
· Configure and maintain OCI & AWS security features including IAM policies, security lists, and network security groups
· Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions in OCI and AWS.
· Automate cloud operations using OCI CLI, Terraform, or other infrastructure-as-code tools
· Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize cloud application delivery
Requirements
· 5 years of experience in all essential functions or equivalent.
