Sr. Manager - Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our Corporate Income Tax team at a rapidly growing technology company. The Global Tax Team’s  mission is to mitigate tax risk, drive operational efficiencies, and create financial value by combining deep technical expertise with a proactive, collaborative approach to income tax matters across the organization.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of ASC 740, Income Tax & Forecasting, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of global corporate income tax operations, including tax accounting and reporting under U.S. GAAP and non-U.S. statutory requirements, U.S. and international corporate income tax compliance, and income tax forecasting and planning. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and scalable tax processes that support the company’s continued growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee global income tax accounting and reporting, including quarterly and annual tax provisions under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740) and applicable non-U.S. statutory requirements.
  • Lead and manage global corporate income tax operations, including U.S. federal, state, and non-U.S. income tax compliance processes.
  • Prepare and review income tax forecasts, effective tax rate analyses, and related reporting for management and stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Legal, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and timely filings.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate global tax risks while ensuring compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability of global income tax operations to support business growth.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
  • Support global tax planning initiatives, business transactions, and strategic projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion.
  • Develop and maintain tax policies, documentation, and controls to support SOX and internal governance requirements.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or  MST,  strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate income tax, including a combination of public accounting and in-house corporate tax experience.
  • Deep technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state corporate income tax, ASC 740, and international tax concepts.
  • Experience managing global income tax compliance and reporting for multinational organizations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate complex tax concepts clearly to non-tax stakeholders.
  • Experience working with tax provision and compliance software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, or similar tools).
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth, technology, or public company environment is a plus.

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $198,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
