We have an incredible opportunity for a Senior Manager - Installation and Maintenance (I&M) to support the East Coast of Florida from Daytona to Miami; centrally located candidate highly .
Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of I&M Supervisors and the relationship with I&M vendors who are responsible for the daily I&M schedule, quality, and productivity for all I&M activity within the state of Florida.
- Ensures training is being conducted for I&M Technicians for all maintenance and installation activities, ensuring proper work methods, quality and safety standards and equipment usage.
- Monitors work production and quality, ensuring that all installs and repairs meet required specifications and that all safety and Company procedures are followed.
- Reviews FCC technical requirement and maintains records accordingly. Performs all FCC-related field testing; maintains network at or better than design specifications.
- Supports escalations for install and repair issues by aiding the I&M technicians and keeping customers informed on the status until resolution.
- Supports field and network engineers during testing phase, as required.
- Manages the daily operational aspects of all assigned projects, gain consensus from stakeholders and perform quality control to ensure a successful implementation.
- Coordinates workforce with I&M with Project Management to ensure adequate technical resources are available to satisfy project scheduling requirements.
- Provides direction in complex problem-solving situations and participate in direct interaction with technical resources when required.
- Proactively manages communications about technical support, operations, changes, outages, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of installation and maintenance management experience within a Telecom or cable environment.
- Experience with Wi-Fi access points, preferably with Nokia equipment and familiarity with installation and configuration of switches and routers
- Able to gather and organize data, then make logical decisions based on that data and implement a solution.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work for team and then adjust as project/venue priorities change without missing deadlines.
- Familiarity with field service management platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
