About the Role

A top GC is seeking an Sr. PM for a Data Center construction project in Texas. This is an inward focused (on the work) role. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for directing teams, providing administrative and technical leadership for the project, scheduling and facilitating meetings, maintaining all project records and correspondence. The Sr. Project Manager develops, coordinates, implements, and manages all activities necessary to construct one of more projects safely and within schedule and budget. For this project you will work onsite in the Midland, Texas area 3 weeks, then from your home office 1 week. Airfare home and travel expenses are covered and a generous per diem is available. As a Sr. PM, you’ll help take ownership of large‑scale data center builds, overseeing administrative and technical operations onsite. You’ll drive schedule certainty, maintain quality and commissioning standards, and ensure seamless coordination across trades—especially MEP partners.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Years Experience: 10+ years in a PM capacity with a GC firm

• Travel required up to 75% of the time

• Bachelor's Degree (highly )

• Prior Data Center build exp

• Strong MEP background

Responsibilities:

• Participate in preconstruction phase: gather sub pricing, and prepare scopes of work for all trades.

• Review drawings, identify conflicts, and prepare RFIs.

• Proactively develop cost-effective solutions and prepare preliminary preconstruction and construction schedules

• Analyze project requirements, verify scope, and review subcontractor estimates.

• Oversee value engineering and prepare soft cost budgets.

• Review plans and specifications, schedule and budget, and award commitments to subcontractors.

• Oversee set up of project in Procore.

• Monitor project scope for changes affecting budget or schedule making corrections and adjustments as required to maintain the project schedule.

• Perform monthly job reviews and weekly site visits 

• Organize and lead OAC meetings and prepare monthly owner billings.

• Oversee project closeout, evaluate change orders, and prepare owner change orders.

• Manage, mentor, and foster a positive working environment for support staff consisting of Project Coordinators, Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and/or .
