Sr Network Engineer

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience to support critical networking initiatives. This role is focused on engineering and solution design rather than day-to-day operations, bring deep networking expertise, the ability to design and implement scalable solutions, and experience supporting large-scale conversion and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Cisco SD-WAN Conversion Project: Support a 400-site rollout, assisting the project lead in transitioning from SP to Cisco SD-WAN (currently ~10% complete).
• Data Center Networking: Maintain and support existing Data Center sites (3 total), with a strong focus on Cisco Nexus technologies; Cisco ACI experience is a plus.
• Commercial Projects: Assist with enterprise-level networking projects, including pipeline expansions. Deploy routers/switches at new sites to enable connectivity and monitoring.
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in a rotation every 8 days (24-hour coverage), with an average of ~50% likelihood of receiving calls.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5–10 years of proven networking engineering experience.
• Strong background in Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus; Cisco ACI .
• Solution design experience with large-scale enterprise projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments.

(Nice-to-Have) Certifications

• Cisco CCNP or CCNA certification.
