Sr. Network Engineer - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPN/Firewall issues and act as an escalation point.
• Monitor network systems to ensure high availability.
• Mentor junior team members and lead network-related projects.
• Develop and execute test plans and project timelines.
• Stay current on infrastructure trends and their business impact.
• Provide technical support and perform root cause analysis.
• Install and upgrade network hardware (cables, switches, routers, WAPs).
• Manage routing, switching, wireless, and load balancing technologies.
• Assist with virtual environments and Cisco UCS infrastructure.
• Maintain network documentation and support architecture planning.
• Support KPI reporting and capacity planning.
• Follow ITIL best practices and drive infrastructure optimization.
• Familiarity with RF and barcoding technologies is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field .
• At least one certification required; two or more .
• Relevant certs: Cisco CCNP-DC/ENT, Juniper JNCIP-DC/ENT, Palo Alto PCNSA
• : CCIE, JNCIE, PCNSE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, VMware VCAP-NV
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently and travel up to 10%
• Knowledge of change management and IT operations

Experience:

• 5+ years in network infrastructure design and maintenance
• Strong background in VMware, iSCSI, replication, and data center ops
• Experience with DHCP, DNS, SSL, and encryption
• Familiarity with 3PL, WMS, TMS, and barcode systems is a plus
