We are headquartered in Pune (India) with international offices in US, Canada, UK, Germany and Japan.
Neilsoft’s Steel Practice has been servicing customers in North America for 20+ years offering high-quality Steel detailing & modeling and connection design support. We work with leading Steel Contractors & Fabricators and Structural Consultants / EPC firms and are engaged in a variety of projects including - residential, commercial, industrial process plants, manufacturing factories, data centers, semiconductor facilities, etc. Our offerings range from fabrication / erection GA drawings, estimation (take off services) to connection design services and our teams work extensively on software packages like Tekla, SDS/2, Advance Steel and Revit.
As part of our expansion plans, we are seeking to add 2 colleagues in our Canton, MI office for Steel Detailing & Project Co-ordination to work on exciting projects for our customers in North America. The role is based out of our Canton, MI office and is a fulltime, onsite position. Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/DEC in Civil Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on steel detailing & modeling projects and also act as the liaison / co-ordination POC between our Clients and India & Canda-based teams.
- Participate in project estimations and checking of deliverables before client submissions
- Setting and maintaining client preferences and drawing standards
- Should be able to generate shop and assembly drawings using Tekla and/or SDS/2 software for the fabrication of various steel structures
- Experience in Structural and Miscellaneous Steel modeling and checking against contract drawings
- Should have exposure to client interaction and coordination
- Should have knowledge about handling RFI's internal and client/contractor
Job Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of AISC, NISD, IBC, CISC and OSHA standards of structural steel detailing
- Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility, and able to handle teams.
- Good communication with fluency in English and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit / Advance Steel / Bluebeam will be an added advantage
