Structural Engineer\n\nMilton Keynes\n\n£35k-£45k plus benefits\n\nOur client is looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join their Building Engineering Team at their Milton Keynes office. They offer an agile and hybrid working environment, providing flexibility to balance work and life commitments.\n\nThis is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career by delivering high-quality engineering solutions and designs for a diverse range of projects across multiple niche sectors including residential housing, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy, and more.\n\nThe focus is on achieving the right balance between form and function, addressing competing priorities like sustainability, materiality, cost, and constructability.\n\nYou will work closely with the team Director and support the project lead, managing the day-to-day design and drawing production to assist in the technical delivery of projects.\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will have a degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering and be working towards chartership. You will also have xxperience in the design of foundations, masonry, concrete (including detailing), steel, and timber structures to Eurocodes.\n\nRequirements:\n\nExperience in the residential market, including traditional construction and framed structures\nPreferably experience in structural investigations of low- to medium-rise residential structures\nFamiliarity with relevant design software, such as Tekla (Tekla Designer and Tedds), with knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit being an advantage\nStrong decision-making ability and the capacity to work independently\nGood communication skills \n\nA personal development plan and a clear career pathway will put you in control of your career progression, with support to help you reach your goals.\n\nWith agile offices and hybrid working as standard, our client happy to discuss flexible working arrangements that suit you.
