My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting projects across the semiconductor, industrial, data center, and commercial residential sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in structural design and analysis, with the ability to adapt to the unique demands of high-tech environments and large-scale mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Analysis

    • Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems for buildings and infrastructure.
    • Develop structural systems tailored to the unique requirements of cleanrooms, fabrication facilities, data halls, and residential towers.
  • Project Coordination

    • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams to ensure structural solutions integrate seamlessly with other disciplines.
    • Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments.
  • Documentation & Compliance

    • Prepare detailed construction documents including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
    • Ensure designs comply with local building codes, seismic requirements, and industry standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.).
  • Construction Support

    • Provide technical support during construction, including site visits, RFIs, submittal reviews, and field issue resolution.
  • Innovation & Sustainability

    • Incorporate sustainable design principles and innovative structural systems to optimize performance and reduce environmental impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or in progress.
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with exposure to semiconductor fabs, industrial plants, data centers, or commercial residential buildings.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, RISA, STAAD).
  • Strong understanding of seismic design and performance-based engineering.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

  • Experience with high-tech manufacturing environments (e.g., semiconductor fabrication).
  • Familiarity with mission-critical infrastructure and redundancy requirements in data centers.
  • Knowledge of modular construction and prefabrication techniques.
  • Exposure to mixed-use developments and podium-style residential structures.
