Job DescriptionStructural Lead - Data Centre - BlythOur client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Structural Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.ResponsibilitiesStructural Package LeadershipLead the delivery of all structural works on a large-scale data centre construction project, overseeing reinforced concrete and structural steel packages to ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.Design Coordination & Technical OversightWork closely with structural consultants, engineers, and BIM teams to review design documentation, resolve technical queries, and ensure constructability across structural elements including foundations, slabs, steel frames, and supporting infrastructure.Construction Management & Site SupervisionOversee day-to-day structural construction activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.Programme & Interface CoordinationCollaborate with project planners, construction managers, and MEP teams to ensure structural works are sequenced appropriately within the overall project programme, enabling timely progression of building envelope and internal installation activities.Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure all structural works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and inspection requirements, supporting inspections, testing processes, and documentation needed for quality assurance and handover.RequirementsMust have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades backgroundMust have 10+ years experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data CentresMust be based within a commutable distance of BlythBenefits£80,000 - £100,000 + PackageTPBN1_UKTJ
