£220 per day | Contract | Immediate Start \nWe are currently recruiting experienced data cabling engineers and structured cabling engineers for ongoing contract work in West Midlands. This role suits skilled data cablers, network cabling engineers, and telecoms engineers with strong commercial installation experience. \nKey Responsibilities\n\nInstallation of structured data cabling systems in commercial environments\n\nTermination and installation of Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling\n\nFibre optic cabling including pulling, terminating, and testing (splicing advantageous)\n\nInstallation and dressing of data cabinets, racks, patch panels, and containment systems\n\nTesting, labelling, and fault finding using Fluke or equivalent testers\n\nWorking from technical drawings, schematics, and site specifications\n\nWorking on offices, education buildings, laboratories, warehouses, and data centre projects\nEssential Requirements\n\nProven experience as a data cabling engineer or structured cabling engineer\n\nStrong background in network cabling, telecoms, and low-voltage installations\n\nValid CSCS card or ECS card\n\nOwn data cabling tools, testers, and full PPE\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a site team\n\nGood understanding of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA)\nDesirable (Not Essential)\n\nIPAF and/or PASMA certification\n\nFibre splicing experience\n\nCommercial, industrial, or data centre cabling experience\nJob Details\n\nLocation: West Midlands \n\nRate: £220 per day\n\nContract type: Contract / Freelance / CIS / LTD\n\nHours: 8-9 hours per day\n\nDuration: Ongoing / long-term work available\n\nStart date: Immediate\nApply Now\n Please send your CV or data cabling work history along with contact details
