Role Overview

We are supporting a leading General Contractor that is actively expanding its Mission Critical division and is seeking a Superintendent to join the team on a $200M+ Data Center project in Secaucus, NJ.

\n

\n

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on one of the region's premier hyperscale data center developments while joining a company with a strong pipeline of Mission Critical work across the United States.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of Data Center construction experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and schedule are paramount. Candidates with strong mission critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or large-scale MEP construction experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations on a $200M+ Data Center project.
  • \n

  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and site logistics.
  • \n

  • Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
  • \n

  • Conduct daily site walks and proactively resolve field issues.
  • \n

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • \n

  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • \n

  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.
  • \n

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, Consultants, and Trade Partners.
  • \n

  • Track manpower, productivity, and overall project progress.
  • \n

  • Lead field coordination meetings and maintain clear communication between all stakeholders.
  • \n

Requirements

\n

\n

    \n
  • 3–5+ years of Data Center construction experience .
  • \n

  • Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Lead Superintendent on large commercial or mission critical projects.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination.
  • \n

  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing complex projects.
  • \n

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • \n

  • OSHA certification .
  • \n

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • \n

  • Willingness to relocate or travel as required.
  • \n
