Superintendent (GC Commercial)

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction operations for assigned projects, with a strong focus on mission-critical/data center environments. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage fast-paced, technically complex projects while coordinating multiple trades and maintaining strict adherence to schedule, safety, and quality standards.

Candidates should also bring 25 years of civil/sitework experience to support early-phase coordination, including site preparation, utilities, and groundwork.

What Youll Do

  • Lead and supervise on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
  • Coordinate trades, including civil, structural, and MEP, with a strong focus on mission-critical scopes
  • Manage construction sequencing in fast-paced data center environments with tight timelines
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, safety protocols, and local codes
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including 3-week look-ahead planning
  • Partner with Project Managers to track progress, resolve field issues, and drive project success
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings, safety briefings, and subcontractor alignment meetings
  • Enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance across all job site activities
  • Perform routine site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation (Procore or similar platforms)
  • Manage inspections, commissioning coordination, punch lists, and project closeout
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and inspectors

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in commercial or industrial construction
  • Direct experience working on mission-critical or data center projects
  • 25 years of civil/sitework experience (utilities, grading, excavation, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing across multiple trades, including MEP systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, including civil and MEP plans
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with construction management software (Procore )
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Valid drivers license
