Job description:

We are searching for a Survey Party Chief with strong experience in construction surveying for an industry-leading firm in the construction technology space. The position will NOT report to an office and will travel directly to sites. The firm will provide a company vehicle that you will be able to take home to commute to and from sites. They will also provide all the needed equipment! Typical projects will include large-scale residential developments, data centers, and commercial development projects.

*This is a direct placement position, so you would be 100% employed by the firm.

Duties:

• Complete construction layout projects around the MD/Northern VA region
• Work independently on projects with additional assistance on larger projects when needed
• Work on a wide range of commercial & residential projects with occasional heavy civil infrastructure projects
• Perform work with GPS and Robotic Systems
• Complete projects from start to finish with no supervision

Qualifications:

• 4-10+ years of survey experience
• Must have experience with construction layouts
• Experience with GPS and Robotic Systems
• Ability to complete projects independently
• Valid driver's license
