Job Overview:

The Surveyor is an individual looking to provide quality surveying services for Digital Installation Group. They will ensure that work complies with design drawings and specifications. This individual will perform survey measurements for job set-up, stake-out, and “As Built”. They will provide support to job site personnel as required throughout the course of a project. They will be able to operate a variety of survey equipment as the job demands and work on multiple jobs at the same time.

Responsibilities:

· Assists in determining elevations and laying out stakes; marks points of measurement with required data; assists in measuring between points; places stakes at designated points and specified elevations.

· Operates all survey equipment.

· Able to follow detailed instructions and pay close attention to detail.

· Collect information from knowledgeable sources about the work to be performed.

· Ensure timely deadlines for all assigned tasks.

· Able to read construction drawings and specifications.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Willing to learn new concepts and adapt to new technologies.

· Proficient communication skills including verbal and written, interpersonal and organizational.

· Current surveyor license is

· At least 2 years of construction experience.

· Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a federal background check.

· Strong alignment with company values, emphasizing safety and quality.

Abilities:

· Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.

· Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in , and the ability to hear and communicate in English.

· Identify when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

· Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

· See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

· Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
