Job Title: Sustainability Lead\n\nLocation: Hayes, London\n\nSalary: £50,000 – £65,000 + 10% Car Allowance + Package\n\nWorking Pattern: Full-Time, Site Based\n\nAbout the Company\n\nTSL Projects is a leading engineering and construction contractor delivering complex projects across Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Logistics and Food Production sectors throughout the UK and Europe.\n\nDue to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Sustainability Lead to join a major advanced manufacturing project in Hayes. This is an opportunity to take ownership of sustainability delivery on a highprofile construction programme, supporting project teams to achieve ambitious environmental, carbon and certification objectives.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Sustainability Lead, you will act as the project's sustainability subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nWorking closely with operational teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors, you will lead sustainability initiatives, manage certification requirements and ensure compliance with project sustainability commitments.\n\nThe successful candidate will be a visible presence on site, supporting project delivery teams and driving best practice across all sustainability and environmental activities. Sustainability Leads typically oversee sustainability strategies, certification processes, site assessments and carbon reduction initiatives throughout construction projects.\n\nSustainability Lead - Key Responsibilities\n\n * Lead sustainability delivery across a major construction project.\n\n * Manage BREEAM certification requirements from design through to project completion.\n\n * Maintain sustainability trackers, evidence registers and compliance documentation.\n\n * Undertake site sustainability inspections and audits.\n\n * Support project teams in achieving environmental and sustainability objectives.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Degree qualified in Sustainability, Environmental Management, ESG, Construction or a related discipline.\n\n * Minimum 3 years' experience within a sustainability role in construction or the built environment.\n\n * Demonstrable BREEAM delivery experience (essential).\n\n * Experience managing sustainability compliance and certification requirements.\n\n * Full UK driving licence.\n\n * Ability to work full-time on site.\n\nDesirable\n\n * BREEAM AP qualification.\n\n * LEED AP accreditation.\n\n * OneClick LCA experience.\n\n * PAS 2080 experience.\n\n * ISO 14001 Internal Auditor qualifications\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n * £50,000 – £65,000 salary.\n\n * 10% car allowance.\n\n * Comprehensive benefits package.\n\n * Long-term career progression opportunities.\n\n * Exposure to major industrial and advanced manufacturing projects.\n\n * Opportunity to play a key role in delivering sustainability objectives on complex construction programmes.\n\nApply:\n\nIf you have strong contractor-side sustainability experience, proven BREEAM delivery capability and are looking to progress your career with a leading international contractor.
