Overview Job Profile

•Responsible for ensuring the regional infrastructure requirements are maintained and available in line with agreed service level agreements. Main areas of responsibility include data center hardware, email and collaboration systems and supporting the integration with the business systems.

•Collaborate with NA / global IT Team.

•Implement IT initiatives and projects.

•Lead and mentor within the IT group.

•Document all existing IT processes.

Primary Role & Responsibilities

•Perform day to day management of systems environments (stability, security) – Email, SharePoint, internet access, security, and backup services.

•Coordinate backups and data archiving.

•Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and test data & system restorations.

•Perform upgrades of hardware and software desktop environments within group standards.

•Ensure all data is managed efficiently and securely.

•Implement new technologies in line with business strategies and growth.

•Identify new applications and hardware that enhance the productivity of the business and propose to site leadership team as needed.

•Serve as primary support for all server related issues.

•Assist or lead projects in the implementation of new technologies in business enhancement projects.

•Manage Helpdesk tickets and IT project management.

•Provide operational and leadership support for Volex cybersecurity posture and related projects.

Requirements:

Key Skills & Competences

•Formal education in a support/ technical environment.

•Minimum 10 years of experience in an IT environment with demonstrated leadership skills.

•Thorough knowledge of platforms used in the most systems architecture.

•Excellent knowledge of the regional systems architecture and applications

•Enthusiastic can-do character, willing to work at all levels within the business.

•Team player and leader.
