About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer – Data Center Systems to join our client . This is a high-visibility role supporting global data center operations, build-outs, and infrastructure automation. The hiring manager is extremely detail-oriented, so candidates with strong initiative and communication skills will thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary systems partner for Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Facilities teams.
Own and manage tools supporting the data center asset lifecycle (racking → provisioning → decommissioning).
Configure and administer DCIM systems (Sunbird, Nlyte, Netbox) and tools for construction/build-out (e.g., Procore).
Design and maintain workflows/runbooks for rack deployment, onboarding, and asset readiness.
Build custom dashboards, reports, and alerts to visualize DC milestones, capacity, and handoffs.
Integrate build-out & commissioning workflows with operational systems (DCIM, asset registry).
Partner with Security & Compliance teams to ensure audit readiness and traceability.

Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years in data center systems, infrastructure operations, or IT automation.
Strong knowledge of data center workflows (rack deployment, provisioning, asset tracking).
Hands-on with DCIM tools (Sunbird, Nlyte, Netbox) and asset management platforms.
Skilled in scripting and automation (Python, JS/TS, React, Node, etc.).
Familiarity with build-out workflows, commissioning milestones, and construction tools (Procore, Primavera, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
Understanding of power/cooling infrastructure, structured cabling, and telemetry systems.
Exposure to audit/compliance for infrastructure traceability.
Experience in global/multi-site data center environments.

Key words - DCMI, Sunbird, Nlyte, Netbox, Procore, PrimaVera, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Must have - Data center experience, experience with building and setting up tools.
