Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Team Lead – Production & Warehouse to support and oversee daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. Although titled as a Team Lead, this role requires advanced leadership capabilities consistent with coordinating production workflows, inventory, quality control, and team performance on the production floor.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on production and warehouse experience, strong organizational ability, and the confidence to lead a team through fast-paced operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership & Daily Operations

• Coordinate and lead the daily activities of production and warehouse staff to ensure targets are met.
• Implement and maintain production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet output goals.
• Assign tasks, manage workloads, and monitor progress across assembly, testing, and packaging.
• Track production metrics and provide timely updates to management regarding progress, delays, or resource needs.
• Conduct regular equipment and machinery inspections and ensure timely maintenance or repairs.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all products meet Phiston’s strict quality standards and customer specifications.
• Enforce quality control procedures, promptly address quality-related issues, and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA, HACCP, and internal safety standards.
• Support adherence to ISO procedures, documentation requirements, and audit readiness.

Warehouse & Inventory Coordination

• Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, picking, and material movement.
• Ensure raw materials, components, and supplies are available and staged according to production schedules.
• Coordinate with supply chain personnel to manage stock levels, resolve shortages, and optimize material flow.
• Prepare accurate documentation for inventory, production activity, and shipping/receiving operations.

Team Development & Communication

• Train, guide, and mentor team members to ensure consistency, skill growth, and adherence to SOPs.
• Maintain clear communication between employees, production management, and senior leadership.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
• Support performance tracking by identifying skill gaps and coaching staff to improve.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend and lead or participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational waste.
• Support lean initiatives, workflow optimization, and problem-solving activities.
• Evaluate production and warehouse processes to identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

• 10+ years of experience in production or warehouse operations, with at least 3–4 years in a lead or supervisory-type role.
• Hands-on experience with production tools, machinery, and assembly procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and production best practices.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical drawings, and production documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment requiring problem-solving and adaptability.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs, and stand, walk, or move around for long periods.

• Degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with ISO procedures, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience coordinating both production and warehouse operations.
• Experience using an ERP system
