400-600K first year total compensation package (depends on skillset/experience level)
Job Description:
Lead the development of multi-tens of GHz transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) for coherent long-haul & metro systems, and PAM4 data center systems, primarily using SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that addresses the growing demands of data transmission in modern data centers, telecom networks, and beyond.
- Measure IC performance and debug designs to correlate simulations to measurements
- Mentor and guide junior designers
- Lead chip design projects and deliver successful silicon
- Translate chip-level specifications into detailed architecture
Requires:
- Proven experience in TIA design for coherent long-haul and metro systems
- Deep understanding of detailed transistor-level design, device physics, and control/feedback loop stability analysis
- Direct project experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Low noise/high linear broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers
- AGC loop design
- High-precision analog circuits (e.g., linear regulators, bandgaps, DAC/ADC)
- Continuous-Time Linear Equalizer (CTLE) design
- Package-system integration
- Solid expertise with EDA CAD tools for custom analog layout and 3D EM modeling
