About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and scale our change management process and framework across the platform. This role is responsible for ensuring that releases are predictable, safe, and high-quality, while enabling engineering velocity at scale. You will work closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, and operations to design and execute a world-class release management program.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, operationally disciplined, and skilled at driving alignment across diverse stakeholders. You thrive in complex environments, can balance rigor with flexibility, and know how to evolve processes that support both speed and stability.
The Technical Program Manager will
- Own the Change Management Program to define, implement, and continuously improve release strategies, policies, and processes across engineering teams and platforms.
- Orchestrate cross-functional releases through coordinating engineering, product, operations, and support teams to ensure smooth release execution with clear accountability.
- Risk management & governance by identifying and mitigating risks early, track release health, and ensure compliance with security, reliability, and operational standards.
- Metrics & visibility by developing and maintaining release dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to provide transparency to leadership and stakeholders.
- Incident & postmortem Integration: Partner with Production Engineering and other teams to incorporate lessons learned from incidents and postmortems into release practices.
- Tooling & automation: Collaborate with infrastructure and developer experience teams to enhance CI/CD, testing frameworks, and release automation capabilities.
- Stakeholder alignment: Facilitate communication and decision-making between Engineering, PM, and TPM leads to balance delivery velocity with release quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of technical program management experience in cloud infrastructure or security-and-compliance focused roles with experience in large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven success in managing ambigious, complex, cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies and balance between velocity and reliability.
- Excellent skills in program governance, risk management, and metrics-driven reporting.
- Strong technical background with understanding of CI/CD, software build and deployment pipelines, testing automation, and infrastructure systems.
- Experience working with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, etc.) and aligning engineering efforts to meet control requirements.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills across Engineering, Security, Product, and Compliance.
- Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives with attention to detail and a bias for action.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior background in Production Engineering, SRE, or Platform Engineering is a plus.
- Experience in high-scale cloud or AI infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with observability platforms, infrastructure-as-code, and compliance tooling.
- Background in risk management or reliability-focused incident management.
