About GTI Energy

GTI Energy, a division of GTI Fabrication, is a leader in industrial modular fabrication, serving the energy, defense, and heavy industrial markets. With advanced engineering and manufacturing operations in Arizona and New York, GTI designs and builds mission-critical modular systems — including containerized energy systems, data centers, and large-scale power distribution enclosures.

As we continue to grow, GTI is expanding its internal recruiting function to attract top technical and engineering talent that drives our innovation and production excellence.

Position Overview

The Senior Technical Recruiter will own the full-cycle recruiting process for complex engineering and manufacturing roles across GTI’s organization. This role is ideal for a high-performing recruiter with deep experience sourcing Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and Structural Engineers and building repeatable, scalable pipelines of technical talent.

You’ll be a key partner to engineering and operations leaders, developing proactive sourcing strategies, optimizing talent funnels, and building long-term networks to support GTI’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, and leadership positions — from intake through offer acceptance.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define technical requirements, market positioning, and role expectations.

  • Build and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and engage engineering talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean searches, and third-party tools (Chrome extensions, niche platforms, competitor mapping, etc.).

  • Create and manage project-based sourcing campaigns to saturate the talent pool within key disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Structural).

  • Build repeatable pipelines for high-volume or recurring roles, ensuring GTI can hire critical talent quickly and efficiently.

  • Use data-driven insights to measure pipeline health, sourcing channel effectiveness, and conversion rates.

  • Manage candidate relationships to ensure a high-quality, responsive, and professional experience.

  • Collaborate with HR, leadership, and operations to forecast hiring needs and prioritize key roles.

  • Maintain ATS hygiene, track progress against time-to-fill targets, and contribute to reporting and dashboarding.

  • Represent GTI Energy’s culture and mission in all candidate interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 8+ years of technical recruiting experience, including 5+ years focused on engineering and manufacturing disciplines.

  • Proven success sourcing Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and Structural Engineers or similar technical roles.

  • Expert-level command of LinkedIn Recruiter, including Projects, Boolean strings, and advanced search filters.

  • Strong sourcing toolkit — comfortable using free 3rd-party Chrome extensions, GitHub, industry directories, and competitive market mapping to uncover passive talent.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for recurring or high-demand technical roles.

  • Experience recruiting within manufacturing, modular fabrication, or industrial environments.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident partnering directly with senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting in multi-site or high-growth manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar ATS platforms.

  • Understanding of engineering workflows, design/manufacturing lifecycles, or industrial operations.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position based in Goodyear, AZ.

  • Primarily on-site for collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing leadership; hybrid flexibility available.

  • Occasional travel to GTI facilities, career events, or conferences.
