Technical Sales Engineer (Refrigeration / HVAC)\n\nTrue are working with a leading HVAC and refrigeration specialist delivering solutions across commercial and industrial applications, including cold storage, food processing, marine applications, data centres and wider temperature-controlled environments.\n\nFollowing continued expansion and structuring into a single business, they’re now looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen their technical team.\n\nThis is a technically led role, focused on design, application and equipment selection, supporting projects from initial customer brief through to delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities – Technical Sales Engineer\n\n• Supporting customers and internal sales teams with technical design, application and equipment selection\n• Working from customer briefs to develop specifications and select appropriate systems\n• Advising on refrigeration and HVAC solutions, including condensing systems, evaporators and packaged units\n• Supporting projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring solutions are commercially viable\n• Producing quotations where required and supporting the sales process\n• Liaising with customers, contractors and internal teams to support project delivery\n• Occasional site visits across the UK to support projects and customer requirements\n\nThis is a client-facing, technical role, supporting contractors and customers with solution selections rather than purely sales-led activity.\n\nIdeal Candidate\n\nYou’ll come from a refrigeration or HVAC background with an understanding of how systems are designed and applied within projects.\n\n• Experience within design, applications, technical support or project delivery\n• Understanding of refrigeration systems and equipment selection\n• Exposure to HVAC systems including air conditioning, heat pumps or chillers\n• Ability to work from a customer brief through to specification and selection\n• Commercial awareness and the ability to support the sales process\n\nPackage\n\n• Salary up to £50,000 (DOE)\n• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service\n• Private medical cover\n• Enhanced sick pay\n\n For a confidential discussion about this role, apply today or get in touch for more details
