We are working with our client on a high profile sales position.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Mechanical Responsibilities
- Perform basic valve maintenance including changing seats, seals, and components
- Assist with troubleshooting and basic product support
- Use hand tools (wrenches, etc.) for light assembly or service work
- Learn product applications, including valves, fittings, and flow control systems
Outside Sales & Business Development
- Visit customers, contractors, distributors, and job sites
- Develop new business opportunities in industrial and infrastructure markets
- Build long-term relationships with engineers, buyers, and operations teams
- Support growth in sectors such as data centers, HVAC systems, and process industries
Trade Shows & Industry Events
- Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company
- Assist with booth setup, product demos, and customer engagement
- Generate and follow up on new leads
Inside Sales & Account Support
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up with customers
- Respond to technical and product inquiries
- Support existing customer accounts and identify upsell opportunities
- Maintain CRM and sales activity tracking
Qualifications
- Background in HVAC, mechanical systems, piping, valves, or industrial distribution
- Experience working with cooling systems, fluid handling, or process equipment
- Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience using tools and working with components such as valves, seals, and fittings
- Prior experience in inside sales, outside sales, or customer-facing technical roles is a plus
- Ability to work in both office and field environments, including travel for customer visits and trade shows
- Mechanical aptitude (experience using tools or working with equipment required)
- 1–3+ years of experience in sales, technical support, or industrial environments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to learn technical products and applications quickly
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and trade shows
- Valid driver’s license
Experience
- Industrial sales, technical sales, or inside/outside sales
- Valves, pumps, piping, fittings, or fluid handling systems
- HVAC systems, cooling systems, or data center infrastructure
- Mechanical assembly, maintenance, or repair
- Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial equipment sales
