An exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Manager responsible for overseeing the delivery of technical services for Critical Infrastructure (CNI) in Warwickshire. This role focuses on managing on-site technical operations, ensuring the reliable execution of PPM, Remedial, Reactive, Quoted Works and Projects.\n\nTo lead the technical delivery, maintenance, and strategic resilience of critical infrastructure assets. You will ensure 100% availability of systems essential to security and public safety while managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialized contractors\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOperational Oversight: Manage day-to-day technical operations, including the installation, maintenance, and testing of CNI Infrastructure.
Oversee SCADA, PLC, and industrial control systems (ICS), and ensure all statutory inspections and compliance requirements are met.\nTeam Management: Mentor and train a team of engineers and technicians. Maintain the Training Matrix to ensure staff competency, safety protocol adherence, and compliance with site regulations.\nService Reliability & Planning: Partner with scheduling and planning teams to manage workforce allocation and align delivery with obligations. Monitor system updates and KPIs, addressing service failures promptly to minimize disruptions.\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for on-site client interactions.
Attend customer meetings, provide technical support, manage action plans, and escalate complex matters to senior leadership.\nReporting & Documentation: Provide regular reports on performance, project status, and productivity. Manage incident reports for critical escalations and maintain customer reference libraries, including drawings and schematics.\nCompliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all activities align with customer policies and safety regulations. Manage the Change Control system, conduct audits to verify contractual service levels, and oversee both internal and third-party contractors.\nTechnical & Financial Management: Perform hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics of CNI Infrastructure.
Manage site-specific budgets and resources to optimize efficiency, including seasonal preparation (Winter/Summer) tasks.Qualifications\n\nExperience working within Critical Infrastructure environments, particularly in technical assurance roles.\nStrong knowledge of relevant engineering standards, statutory compliance, and safety regulations.\nProven ability to support the delivery of complex technical projects within time, quality, and budget constraints.\nExceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels. Data Centre or Uptime institute knowledge/experience\nExpertise in technical assurance and risk management within critical infrastructure settings. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.\nCommitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements\nDPSS check required.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
