Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Warrenton, VA. The Technician will install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for structured network and data center environments. Daily responsibilities include setting up and troubleshooting voice and data endpoints, assisting with wireless network hardware installation, and supporting equipment moves and relocations. The role also involves performing basic diagnostics, documenting work performed, and collaborating with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards. The Technician will follow safety protocols, adhere to customer requirements, and support after-hours work as needed for critical system uptime.

- Hands-on experience with low-voltage cabling installation, termination, and cable management in commercial or data center environments.
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards, basic network hardware (switches, routers, access points), and voice/data endpoint setup.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, floor plans, and installation specifications; strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Comfort working with hand and power tools, ladders, and in various physical environments, while following safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, clients, and coworkers; professional conduct in customer-facing settings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical certifications (e.g., BICSI, low-voltage or network cabling) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Warrenton, VA; willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.
